David has more than 20 years of experience in corporate banking & finance, financial management, mergers & acquisitions, and entrepreneurial ventures, and has thrived in financial, operational, sales and leadership roles both inside and outside organizations (Management, Owner, Advisor, Banker, and Board Member). David enjoys working with all facets of a business and being able to bring his multi-dimensional perspective to help companies achieve profitable, healthy growth. David has closed more than $2.2 billion of M&A transactions as an advisor or operator (approximately 40 deals) and helped finance an additional $2.0 billion. David graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and has worked for Western Reserve Partners/Citizens Bank, Horsburgh & Scott, National City Bank, and McDonald Investments. David met Jeff and Joel in the early 2000s during his time as an investment banker and worked alongside Jeff on the acquisition and subsequent sale of Cimarron Energy. David prioritizes investing in the community and has been involved with organizations such as Building Hope in the City (Board Chair), Kendal at Home (Finance Committee), Renew Communities (Children’s Ministry Teacher), College Now Greater Cleveland (Student Mentor), The City Club of Cleveland New Leaders, CityEdge Christian Church (launch, finance, creative teams and band leader), and The Cleveland BoyChoir (Board Member, Treasurer).
