Clayton Main Bio

Clayton Main is a partner at Bregal Sagemount. Prior to this, Clayton spent 12 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was one of the founding team members of the Goldman Sachs Specialty Lending Group. As a Vice President for the Specialty Lending Group, he was responsible for originating, structuring, and managing senior debt, second lien debt, mezzanine debt, and equity investments in leveraged transactions on behalf of Goldman Sachs. Clayton led the group’s business development efforts in the Southwest US and was responsible for originations in the business services, financial technology, and software verticals. Clayton graduated Magna Cum Laude, Honors in Business, with a BBA from Southern Methodist University.
