Paul Cheung Bio

Paul Cheung is a Tax Director, Americas on the Tax team at Bregal Investments, responsible for overseeing tax planning, structuring, compliance and reporting for all Bregal’s North American investment activities. Prior to joining Bregal, he worked as a Tax Director at Ares Management, Axonic Capital and Apollo Global Management in New York City. In these roles, he specialised in Private Equity, Credit, and Regulated Investment Companies’ tax structuring, planning and compliance. Paul graduated from Penn State University with a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Accounting, and he started his career with Ernst and Young LLP.
