Steven Ortiz Bio

Steven Ortiz is a Vice President at Breakwater focused on the origination, execution and monitoring of investments, valuation and financial reporting & analysis, and support of the investor relations function Professional Experience. Prior to joining Breakwater, Steven worked at Strategy& (part of the PwC Network), where he consulted on private equity transactions by performing operational due diligence, and providing cost savings and revenue synergy analysis. Prior to Strategy&, Steven held a graduate experiential internship at his former client, Asana, where he performed strategic contribution margin analysis on Asana’s product life cycle as well as revenue growth analysis/forecasting. Before Asana, Steven worked and interned at PwC in Silicon Valley for nearly 5 years where he earned his CPA and performed assurance services for technology companies. Education. Steven earned his B.S. in Accounting from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University and received his M.S.F. at the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
