Lauren joined BVG as its Chief People & Culture Officer in 2024. She is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of expertise in optimizing organizational effectiveness, driving cultural change, and developing human capital strategies. Lauren has helped businesses and organizations in the private and public sectors create value and maximize performance by focusing on optimizing talent capabilities. Previously, Lauren was Head of Talent Development, Performance, Learning & Development, and People Analytics for Patagonia, playing a pivotal role in cultivating an exceptional employee experience. Lauren also previously held talent and operations roles at Gap, Inc., Accenture, and the World Bank Group. She holds a BA from Sarah Lawrence College, a Masters of International Affairs from Columbia University, and a Master of Science in Management Systems from NYU. Lauren is deeply passionate about the evolving landscape of the workplace, particularly its convergence with technology and its profound implications for human potential. Residing in Santa Barbara, she channels her enthusiasm for animal welfare and finds solace in spending leisure time in nature with her beloved bullmastiff, Anjing.
