Matt Estep Bio

Matt Estep is the Managing Partner and founder of Bosworth Capital Partners. Matt leads Bosworth in operating its six portfolio companies and acquiring new opportunities. In 2010, Matt acquired his first company - Midwest Supplies. He helped the founders transition out of the business within a year, and over a two year period grew the company to $100M in sales. Prior to acquiring Midwest Supplies, Matt worked at Peoples Energy in Chicago, Illinois. During his time at Peoples, Matt worked in design, project management, and operations management. Matt’s final role at Peoples involved overseeing a utility maintenance facility where he was responsible for leading 250 union employees. Prior to Peoples, Matt co-founded a go-kart manufacturing company and raced as a professional race car driver. Matt holds a Master in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
