Robbert van Kampen Bio

In 2011 Robbert started his career at investment company Holland Capital. As an Investment Analyst Robbert gained a lot of experience with all aspects that are important when making the right investments, especially in healthcare and technology. In 2016 Robbert made the switch to Van Lanschot Participaties, the predecessor of Bolster. Robbert has also been involved as a board member of the Dutch Association of Private Equity Companies (NVP) since 2023. “The special thing about Bolster’s position is that we, as shareholders, are included in the circle of the family business. That makes us part of it. We are truly a partner. For me, that part of it means that I don’t see it as work. We are sometimes called specialists, but when I see what we are asked to think about through our holdings, then we are also generalists. That is not even just business. Sometimes an entrepreneur calls because he wants to get something off his chest. Being given a lot of responsibility, the dynamics of the work and the close cooperation with colleagues complete the picture for me.”
