Joost van der Sluis Bio

Joost studied Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft and Econometrics at Erasmus University. He started in 2015 as a Research Analyst at Kempen & Co, where he provided buy and sell advice on listed shares. After more than two years, Joost made the switch to Van Lanschot Participaties, the predecessor of Bolster. Here he translates his analytical skills into practice; not only seeing opportunities, but also realizing them. “The best part of my job is to take a company to a higher level together with the management and our fellow shareholders. It is a process in which we gradually achieve success and transform the company into a better version of itself. I find fulfilling a role in this particularly valuable. The quality of the cooperation and mutual trust play a crucial role in this. On our side, we work closely with the management team of the company in question with a team of two or three people. We like to use our knowledge, experience and network for the company. In this way, we can make the best decisions and realize the full potential of the company.”
