Mr. D’Avanzo is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Blue Skye Investment Group since 2007 As co-founder and CEO of Blue Skye he has led over 2Bn$ of investment mainly in the European Market. mainly in Finance Platform, Direct and Distress lending, Corporate Restructuring and Reorganisation. From 2005 to 2008 Mr. D’Avanzo worked at D.B. Zwirn in London as Vice President, involved in the analysis and completion of new investment opportunities as well as management of portfolio companies. Main transactions include: Financial and Business Beforehand, Restructuring and turnaround. from 2003 to 2005 Mr. D’Avanzo worked at BC Partners in Milan. Involved in the analysis and completion of new investment opportunities as well as management of portfolio companies. From 2000 to 2003 Mr. D’Avanzo worked as associate at Lehman Brothers (Milan and London) Involved in all origination activities of the Italian Coverage Team as well as execution of M&A, Private Equity, Equity and Debt transactions. Mr. D’Avanzo attended the Military Academy of “Guardia di Finanza” (Finance Police) attaining the rank of Lieutenant. Mr. D’Avanzo holds an Executive MBA from the London Business School and a M.S in Business.
