John Duryea Bio

John is a founding partner of Blue Road. Prior to Blue Road, John was the portfolio manager for Ospraie Special Opportunities, a fund launched in February 2006 focusing on less liquid investment opportunities across basic industries and commodities. Prior to joining Ospraie in September 2005, John was an original member and Managing Director at Ripplewood Holdings. John began his professional career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. as a founding member of the formalized merchant banking efforts in Private Equity, Distressed Debt and Venture Capital. John received a B.A. from Yale University.
