Carmen Evola Bio

Carmen has 25 years of leadership experience within diverse, multinational companies and direct oversight of our Portfolio Company Operations Team. Carmen Evola joined Blackford in 2018 and brings over 25 years of leadership experience within diverse, multi-national manufacturing companies. Mr. Evola has direct oversight of the Portfolio Company Operations Team, working to promote growth, efficiency, and the overall success of the portfolio companies. Prior to joining Blackford Capital, Carmen was President and CEO of Vari-Form Group, LLC (formerly Crowne Group, LLC). At Crowne Group, LLC, he had direct oversight of a $900MM portfolio comprised of 9 different companies, approximately 5,000 employees, and 27 manufacturing & distribution plants located across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. Prior to Crowne Group, Carmen worked as Plant Director for Gestamp North America (formerly LSP Automotive, LLC), and grew the company from a start-up automotive manufacturer into a market leader in South Carolina with sales of nearly $300M, over the course of six years. Prior to Gestamp, Carmen worked for 15 years in key leadership positions in engineering, operations, and plant management. Carmen received his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Toledo. Carmen is based out of the Detroit, Michigan office.
