Simon Steward Bio

Simon joined BGF in April 2021 as Head of Digital having worked with the company since 2015. He is responsible for advising portfolio businesses across the UK on their digital strategies as well as working with investment teams to evaluate the technology aspects of new deals. Prior to BGF, Simon held C-level roles in the publishing, production, investment and technology sectors. He started his career at BT’s research labs, working on a wide range of technologies including chip fabrication, satellite, submarine & mobile communications systems and artificial intelligence before moving to corporate finance and venture capital during the first dotcom boom.
