Florian Hausen Bio

Florian Hausen is Investment Director at Beyond Capital Partners. Florian Hausen joined Beyond Capital Partners in July 2024 as an Investment Director in the investment team. He advises the funds in investment decisions and in the strategic and operational development of portfolio companies in order to promote sustainable growth. Florian has over 20 years of experience and is a proven M&A expert with over 25 successfully completed M&A transactions in the SME sector. He also has extensive operational management experience, particularly in the implementation of value-enhancing strategies for growth and increased efficiency. Florian started his career at Ernst & Young in the Transaction Advisory Services division before moving to Deutsche Bank, where he worked for many years as Vice President in the Investment Banking / Mergers & Acquisitions division. At Marquard & Bahls, he then successfully built up the Corporate M&A division and helped to drive the implementation of the group's global growth strategy with various acquisitions in all business areas. Prior to joining Beyond Capital Partners, Florian held various commercial positions at the Mabanaft Group, a Marquard & Bahls company. Most recently, he was responsible for the Retail / Commercial Road Transport division as Managing Director and was instrumental in implementing the group's growth strategy and transformation. Florian holds a degree in industrial engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and completed a year abroad at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona. He also attended further executive courses at Columbia Business School in New York.
