Jonathan de Lauréal Bio

Jonathan de Lauréal is a Managing Director at BCP. He is involved in all areas of the firm’s investment activities. Jonathan has also been involved in BCP’s investments in Bernhard, LLC, Brown & Root, Charah Solutions (NYSE: CHRA), and Allied Power. Prior to joining BCP in 2013, Jonathan served on the investment team at Lightyear Capital in New York, NY. While at Lightyear, Jonathan was involved in all aspects of the investment process, including evaluation of new investment opportunities, deal structuring and execution, and ongoing monitoring of existing portfolio companies. Prior to his tenure at Lightyear, Jonathan was a member of the Financial Institutions Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he worked on various mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and capital raises for clients in the asset management and insurance industries. He brings extensive investing experience, having been involved in over 50 private equity investments, capital markets financings, and corporate advisory transactions. Jonathan received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.
