Robert Small Bio

Rob Small is a Managing Director at Berkshire Partners and a member of the Stockbridge team. He joined Berkshire in 1992 and has been leading Stockbridge since its inception in 2007. Examples of private equity portfolio company involvement include Active Aero Group, AmSafe, Cypress, Electro-Motive Diesel, English, Welsh & Scottish Railway, GBFC, Gordon Brothers, Hexcel, Party City, and Tranz Rail. Rob began his career at Bain & Co. He received a B.A. from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
