John Kelly Bio

John Kelly is a Managing Director and a member of the Communications and Digital Infrastructure team. He originally joined the firm in 2010 as an Advisory Director and is currently involved with Berkshire portfolio companies Teraco Data Environments and Vapor IO. He is also the Non-Executive Chairman of the Boards of Directors of two former Berkshire Partners portfolio companies – Lightower and Torres Unidas. He previously served as a Director of former Berkshire portfolio companies Crown Castle International Corporation (NYSE: CCI), Telx, and Asurion. He was previously the President and Chief Operating Officer of Atlantic Cellular Company and President and Chief Operating Officer of Hawaiian Wireless. John received a B.S. from Purdue University.
