Charlie Rothstein Bio

Charles Rothstein is founding partner of Beringea. He is responsible for all Firm activities and directly oversees Beringea’s U.S.-based Funds. Since the Firm’s founding, Charlie has served on numerous portfolio company boards and is currently a director at Floyd, UICO, and Hygenica. Additionally, he serves as a director of the Michigan Strategic Fund and board president of S.A.Y. Detroit, a non-profit that provides pathways to success for Detroiters in need. Charlie is a champion for entrepreneurial activity and economic growth in the American Midwest. He has provided expert testimony to the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship and has been honored by multiple organizations for his contributions to the Michigan economy, including recognition by Crain’s Detroit Business and DBusiness magazine for business and community leadership. Charlie graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.B.A. and an MBA.
