Larry Kaplan Bio

Larry Kaplan joined Bedford Funding in 2008, and serves as Chief Financial Officer, responsible for preparing fund statements, and also prepares evaluations of potential investments. Mr. Kaplan previously served as Interim Chief Financial Officer of PeopleFluent. Mr. Kaplan was also a board member of PeopleFluent. Before joining Bedford Funding, Mr. Kaplan served as Senior Vice President at Geac, where he had a wide range of responsibilities, including managing its industry specific applications, assisting in merger and acquisition activity and overseeing administrative functions. Mr. Kaplan joined Geac from Healthology, Inc., a leading producer and distributor of physician-generated health and medical information, where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, Mr. Kaplan spent nearly 10 years at Shandwick International, a $200+ million global public relations consultancy, where he was the Chief Financial Officer and later Chief Executive Officer for its operations in the Americas. Mr. Kaplan received an M.B.A. from Carnegie-Mellon University and a B.S. in mathematics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
