Abhishek Agrawal Bio

Abhishek is a Vice President at BayLink Capital, responsible for supporting all day-to-day activities. Before joining BayLink Capital, Abhishek was as an Associate at True North Managers, one of India's leading private equity firms. During his tenure, he was responsible for True North's expansion into two new investment verticals: Technology and Lifesciences. Abhishek also held internships at leading global private equity firms including Brookfield and Argand Partners. Prior to True North, Abhishek worked at two leading investment banks, Deutsche Bank and Avendus Capital, with a focus on US/Asia deals. Abhishek has significant experience across both investing and managing operational/strategic initiatives within portfolio companies. Abhishek has an MBA from Harvard Business School in addition to a B.Tech in Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Outside of his professional endeavors, Abhishek enjoys playing sports such as tennis, squash, and cricket, discovering the food scene in San Francisco, and has a passion for travel and cinema. He actively engages with healthcare non-profits, mentors students pursuing careers in finance, and collaborated with the government to enhance entrepreneurship and job opportunities for young people.
