Greg Barancik Bio

Greg joined Basalt in 2019 and is located in the New York office. He advises on the origination, execution, management, and operation of investments, predominately in North America. Prior to joining Basalt, Greg worked on the Sustainability and Energy team at JPMorgan Chase focused on the origination and execution of principal investments in renewables. Greg began his career at Bank of America on the Industrials investment banking team, primarily working on transactions in the chemicals and natural resources sectors. Greg is a director of Xpress Natural Gas and Fortbrand. Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) from the University of Chicago.
