David Greenblatt Bio

David joined Basalt at its inception and is located in the New York office. David is the Head of the North American Investment Team and a member of the Investment Committee. He advises on the origination, execution and management of investments for the Firm, with a focus on the North American market. David has 22 years of experience in infrastructure investment and development and is currently a director of Black Bear Transmission, Xpress Natural Gas, Freyja, Skyway and OnSite Partners. Previously, David worked at Balfour Beatty, where he advised financial investors on transactions in the transport and power sectors. David holds a BA (Honors) from Connecticut College and a Master’s degree from MIT. He is also a Beinecke Scholar and a fluent speaker of Mandarin.
