Stuart Gent Bio

Mr. Gent joined Bain Capital in 2007. He is a Partner and Co-Head of the European Private Equity team, where he also leads the Portfolio Group. Mr. Gent works in the London office and focuses on partnering with management teams to drive transformation and performance improvement activities across the European portfolio. He has worked extensively in the technology, financial & business services and industrial sectors. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Gent was Managing Director of Avis UK and a member of the Avis Europe Executive Board, where he was responsible for their UK business. Previously, Mr. Gent was also a Partner at Bain & Company, where he focused on business transformation. Mr. Gent received a BS from Bristol University.
