Mr. Kumar joined Bain Capital in 2011. He is a Managing Director in the Industrial & Energy Vertical and is a member of the North American Private Equity team. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Kumar was a consultant with Bain & Company in New York and London. Mr. Kumar received his MBA from Harvard Business School. He graduated summa cum laude with an AB in Social Studies from Harvard.
