Jenelle DeVits Bio

Ms. DeVits joined Bain Capital Credit in 2022. She is Head of Legal for Bain Capital’s Special Situations in North America and is based in Bain Capital’s Boston office. Previously, Ms. DeVits was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Boston, primarily focused on debt finance and special situations. Prior to Kirkland & Ellis, Ms. DeVits was a debt finance attorney at Ropes & Gray, LLP. Ms. DeVits received a J.D. from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University where she graduated magna cum laude and was awarded the Most Outstanding Law Student Award upon graduation. Ms. DeVits received a B.S. from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, where she was a student-athlete for the Division 1 Women’s Basketball team. Ms. DeVits is a member of the state bar of Massachusetts and New York.
