João Joined Atena in 2020 and is a Principal in the Transactions team, responsible for the negotiation, structuring and execution of Atena's investments and divestments. Prior to joining Atena, João worked at Deloitte for 7 years, as a Corporate Finance Manager. During that time, João integrated the Portfolio Lead Advisory Services team, having advised in Debt and RE transactions, both buy and sell side, on an aggregate outstanding balance of €7.0bn+. João holds a MSc from London Business School and a BSc from Nova School of Business and Economics.
