Raj Kumar Bio

Raj Kumar has over 25 years of legal experience both as a senior executive at large telecommunication companies and international law firms. Mr. Kumar lead the legal team responsible for all commercial transactions for Time Warner Cable (1999-2016). As Chief Counsel and Group Vice President, Mr. Kumar negotiated all strategic deals for the company and helped the launch of every major product. While at Time Warner Cable, Mr. Kumar was responsible for billions of dollars of procurement and sales agreements annually. Prior to Time Warner Cable, Mr. Kumar had a similar role at Hughes Networks Systems(1998-1999). Mr. Kumar began his legal career as a Corporate and Securities lawyer at K&L Gates and Akin Gump in Washington, DC. Mr. Kumar has a BA from Rutgers University (summa cum laude) and a JD from George Washington University with Honors. Mr. Kumar serves as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer.
