Mark MacPherson Bio

Born and raised on the right coast, Mark graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in 1997 and started his finance career with Export Development Canada in Ottawa. In 2000, he moved to Toronto to join the investment bank at BMO Capital Markets. In what seemed like a blink of an eye, years of debt & equity financings, M&A, and a 3-year stint in Melbourne Australia, seemed to dissolve into memory. Mark co-founded Argyle with Neil Mohammed in the spring of 2016, with the guiding principle of trying to do things a little differently in the private equity space. When Mark is not chasing his three young children around, he enjoys turning the pedals on one of his N+1 bike collection, skiing / snowboarding, and the guilty pleasure of American muscle cars.
