Stephane Etroy Bio

Mr. Etroy is a Partner and Head of European Private Equity in the Ares Private Equity Group. He additionally serves as a member of the Ares Private Equity Group's Corporate Opportunities Investment Committee. Prior to joining Ares in 2020, Mr. Etroy was Executive Vice President and Head of Private Equity at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) in London, where he was responsible for the London office and was a member of CDPQ's Executive and Investment-Risk Committees. Previously, he was a Partner at Charterhouse Capital Partners LLP in London, where he worked for more than a decade. Mr. Etroy currently serves on the boards of directors for the parent entities of Exemplar Health Care, Point Vision and SLR Consulting. He holds an M.Sc. from HEC Paris in Finance.
