Alex Hume Bio

Alex joined Arcus in 2021 as our Head of Tax. Alex provides tax advice and input on a broad range of matters across the Arcus business, including in relation to the ongoing management of existing assets, new investment opportunities, house tax compliance and deal execution. Prior to joining Arcus, Alex was a senior manager in PwC’s Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) team, supporting and providing advice to a wide range of AIF clients (including Arcus) on cross-border tax structuring, tax disputes, M&A tax advisory and tax compliance. Alex holds a BA in Accounting and Financial Management and Economics from the University of Sheffield, he is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
