Peter Tertzakian Bio

Peter is a Deputy Director of the ARC Energy Research Institute and provides analysis of current trends in technology and updates on energy-related businesses to ARC Energy Funds' investors and portfolio companies. He is a member of ARC’s Investment Committee.Peter joined ARC in 2002 with a background in geophysics and economics and has over 30 years of experience in the energy business. Best-selling author of A Thousand Barrels A Second and The End of Energy Obesity, he is a sought after international speaker recognized as an expert energy economist and has been a key contributor on a number of government and industry panels. Peter has a Master of Science in Management of Technology from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a graduate degree in Econometrics from the University of Southhampton and a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from the University of Alberta.
