John Dielwart Bio

John provides leadership support for the executive team in the areas of internal governance and investment decision making. With his extensive background in creating, building and leading one of Canada’s most successful energy companies, mentorship of ARC employees as well as the management teams of ARC Energy Funds portfolio companies is a key focus. John is a member of ARC’s Investment Committee, and currently represents ARC on the board of Aspenleaf Energy Limited. John is a founder and Director of ARC Resources Ltd. from 1996 to present and Chief Executive Officer from 2001 to 2013. John’s education includes a Bachelor of Science (Distinction) in Civil Engineering from the University of Calgary. He is a Professional Engineer and an Institute of Corporate Directors Certified Director.
