Steven Faas Bio

Steven Faas is Partner, Private Equity and Operating Partner of Technology at Apollo. Prior to joining in 2021, Steven was with Aleris International where he was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer with responsibility globally for all Information Technology activities. Previously, he was with Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company, where he served as CIO / IT Operations Executive. Before that, Steven was a consultant with the IT Turnaround Services practice at AlixPartners, and Vice President and CIO for ITT Corporation. Steven began his career at General Electric Company, where he served in finance, human capital, operations and IT roles, including as CIO for GE Energy Products. Steven has a BBA in Accounting and a BS in Computer Science from Siena College.
