Jonathan Cancro Bio

Jonathan Cancro is Managing Director, Finance at Apollo, where he is Senior Controller for Private Equity Funds IX, VIII and VI and responsible for accounting and operational oversight of certain of the Firm’s flagship private equity funds. Prior to joining Apollo in 2007, Jonathan was Senior Associate in the Alternative Investments Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he supervised the audits of private equity and hedge fund clients. Jonathan graduated from Bentley University with a BS in Accounting Information Systems and received an MS in Accounting from the McCallum Graduate School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and Connecticut, a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and is a member of the AICPA and New York State Society of CPA’s.
