Mark Salter Bio

Mark is a founding partner and member of our investment committee. He has over 25 years’ experience in private equity in the UK. He co-founded Apiary to support owner-led businesses build strong foundations for long-term success through providing capital and strategic advice for buy-and-build growth strategies. Mark previously spent 16 years at Bowmark Capital, one of the UK’s best-known private equity houses operating in the mid-market, where he served as a senior partner until 2017. He has led successful buy-and-build investments in the healthcare, education, business and technology services sectors. Mark holds a BSc in economics from Brunel University London.
