Matthijs van der Ham Bio

Matthijs (1982) has a technical business and mechanical engineering background. He started his career at Ned-Deck Marine from which he founded subsidiary Fast RSQ in 2009; a producer of resque and workboats (later Palfinger Boats). As an entrepreneur, Matthijs, together with his team, has set up a complete product portfolio with a large international sales network and production facilities in Vietnam and Harderwijk. In 2016 he sold his shares and remained a director at Palfinger Marine for another 2 years, he was responsible for the integration of several subsidiaries. After this, together with Gert-Jan Verhoef, he founded the company Rhinox, a producer of crawler lifts. At the beginning of 2021, they sold a majority stake in Rhinox. Matthijs is involved as an investment manager in a number of participations.
