Jan-Dirk van De Geer Bio

Jan-Dirk (1970) is a business economist (Erasmus University). Jan-Dirk started his career at Baan Company where he was responsible for some large automotive accounts such as Toyota and Mercedes-Benz within a few years. After that he worked for the Vanenburg Group for about 8 years where he was responsible for managing and expanding the investment portfolio. In the following years, Jan-Dirk has been the director of an IT company that is active in food retail. As CFO of the Ubbink Group (turnover about 140 million) he has supervised several reorganizations and has been responsible for great progress in the financial functions of the group and its IT systems. Jan-Dirk has held various board positions (including chairman) for many years at NGOs that are active in Africa, at various bodies of the PKN and is a board member of the Obadja deliberation. From 2018 to 2022, Jan-Dirk was CEO of Lagersmit on behalf of Anders Invest.
