Michael Counihan Bio

Michael Counihan joined American Securities in 2025. He assists the firm with investor relationships, marketing, and fundraising activities. Prior to joining American Securities, he was a Vice President on the Investor Relations team at BayPine, supporting global fundraising efforts and project management functions. Previously, Michael was an Associate in Goldman Sachs’ External Investing Group (XIG) focused on investment manager due diligence. He began his career as an Associate at Cambridge Associates. Michael received a BS in Business Administration from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and is a CFA and CAIA Charterholder.
