John Wanglin Bio

John joined Alpine in 2016 as a member of its Investing team. He sources, executes, and supports companies across Alpine’s software and services industries. John played a pivotal role in establishing Alpine’s sourcing function, including building its team to over 30 individuals and strengthening relationships with intermediaries and business owners. Since joining Alpine, John has closed over 20 deals, served on the board of six companies, and helped spearhead Alpine’s investments in the education sector. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Psychology.
