Akikul Islam Bio

Akikul joined Alpha in 2020 and is Head of Strategy and Fundraising based in Luxembourg and the UK. Akikul started his career at the Royal Bank of Scotland on the EMEA Loan Origination, Syndicate and Sales desk. Prior to joining Alpha, Akikul headed up the EMEA Project Management function at Eaton Partners, including co-heading origination as well as being involved in distribution. Akikul also worked at Park Hill Group advising “best in breed” private equity funds on all aspects of the capital fundraise. Akikul holds a Masters of Arts (MA) Mathematics from the University of Oxford.
