Sofia joined Alchemy in 2008 from Citigroup where she focused on distressed debt and special opportunities investments in the telecom, media and energy sectors. Before that, Sofia was a Credit Research Analyst for PIMCO in London and an Equity Research Analyst for BPI in Portugal. Sofia has a degree in Economics from the University of Porto, an MSc in Finance from London Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
