Hugh Costello Bio

Hugh joined Agathos in January 2021 and is a Partner and member of the Investment Committee. Hugh has over ten years’ experience of investing into UK SMEs, having previously held investor roles at Octopus Investments and BGF. Hugh began his career in management consulting at Oliver Wyman Group, based in London and New York. Hugh has invested in and sat on the boards of companies across a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, automotive, consumer, hospitality & leisure and medical technology. Hugh has a first class degree in economics from the University of St Andrews and masters from Cambridge University. He is a CFA charterholder.
