Akin joined AIIM in 2015 and is involved in all aspects of the transaction process, from origination to transaction execution and asset management, primarily in West Africa. He has worked on transactions across multiple sectors including energy (thermal power, midstream energy and renewable energy) and digital infrastructure (towers and data centres), including AIIM’s investments in Eastcastle and a joint venture with N+ONE DATACENTERS. Prior to joining AIIM, Akin worked as an Economic Research Analyst at Financial Derivatives Company (FDC) Limited in Nigeria. Akin holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Lagos and a Master of Science in Finance and Economics from the University of Durham in the United Kingdom.
