Sam Thompson Bio

Sam is a Vice President on AEA’s Private Debt team. In his role, he focuses on mezzanine and senior debt investment opportunities. Prior to joining AEA, Sam was a vice president at Stellus Capital Management, focusing on debt and minority equity investments in middle market companies. Sam began his career as an analyst in the natural resources group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Houston, Texas. Sam attended Rice University where he earned a B.A. in economics and political science.
