John Almeida Bio

John is a Partner on AEA’s Middle Market Private Equity team. In his role, he focuses on investment opportunities in the technology-enabled-services and software sectors. John serves on the board of Hero Digital. John has over 20 years of transaction and operating experience in technology-enabled services. Prior to AEA, John was the Managing Partner of SARORAS Private Capital, which provided private equity capital to growing middle market companies in the software and technology enabled services sectors. Previously, John completed several technology investments, founded and had a senior executive role at Reimagine Holdings Group before the company was sold. John began his private equity career at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe where he was a General Partner and member of the management committee. John earned a B.A. in history from Yale, where he graduated with honors.
