Peter James joined Advent in 2020 and focuses on investing in the business and financial services sectors. Peter has been a private equity investor since 2010, working primarily on large and mid-cap buyouts at TPG Capital in London and San Francisco, prior to joining Advent. Peter began his career as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch. Peter earned his BSc (Hons) from the University of Bath and his Masters from Sciences Po Paris.
