John Shea Bio

John Shea joined Advent in 2021 and serves as Chief Technology Officer, which encompasses information security, technology infrastructure, computer operations and business applications. In addition to Advent, John has over 25 years of experience leading global IT organizations with extensive experience as a Chief Information Officer, leading and developing teams. John is also a retired Captain of the Navy Reserve. John obtained his bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering from Maine Maritime Academy and an MBA from Anna Maria College. He is a trustee for the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy and Anna Maria College.
