Amanda McGrady Morrison joined Advent in 2022 and serves as the firm’s General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer. Prior to joining Advent, Amanda was a partner at Ropes & Gray LLP, where she served as the head of the global private equity transactions practice and specialized in representing private equity firms and their portfolio companies in a variety of transactions involving public and private companies. She also served as the co-chair of the Ropes & Gray Women’s Forum. Amanda holds a B.A., summa cum laude, from Wake Forest University and a J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School.
