Alejandro Alcalde Rasch joined Advent in 2010 and acts as an advisor in order to help improve portfolio company performance. Prior to joining, he was the Chief Transformation Officer and Head of Supply Chain of Grohe AG, a TPG and CSFB portfolio company, for five years. Prior to that, Alejandro spent 12 years at McKinsey & Company, where he was a partner in their chemicals and steel practice. He worked on numerous performance improvement and strategy projects in Europe and the United States. As a member of McKinsey's private equity practice he also worked on a large variety of strategic due diligence and post-acquisition projects. Alejandro has a PhD and Diploma in Business Administration and Management from Gerhard-Mercator University Duisburg.
