Andy Crain Bio

Andy Crain is a senior vice president and member of Advantage Capital Capital Markets team. In this role he works to expand the low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) and renewable energy lines of business while also bolstering fund management and investor relations activities. Andy joined Advantage Capital from Aegon Asset Management, where over the past 18 years he held various leadership roles within the tax credit division, most recently with direct responsibility for portfolio management and investor relations activities. At Aegon, he also played a leading role in the closing of more than $4.5 billion of tax credit equity in 43 funds. Andy holds an MBA from the University of Iowa Tippe College of Business and a bachelor's in finance and real estate from the University of Northern Iowa.
