Jim Walker Bio

Jim oversees Adams Street’s finance, human resources, legal, information technology, and client reporting functions. Prior to joining Adams Street, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Credit Suisse’s Private Bank Americas where he had full P&L responsibility in addition to overseeing the finance, human resources, legal, compliance, and technology functions. Prior to Credit Suisse, Jim spent seven years at Morgan Stanley Global Wealth Management where he served on the management committee and held several roles including Director of Product Strategy, Director of the Consulting Group, and COO of Investment Products. Before Morgan Stanley, he spent nearly two decades at Merrill Lynch with his final role being Chief Administrative Officer for the Global Private Client business.
